Understanding failure

In order to run a successful business, it is important to understand failure:

  • Failing doesn’t mean you’re a failure; it just means you have not succeeded yet;
  •  It doesn’t mean you’ve accomplished nothing; it just means you’ve been learning something;
  • It doesn’t mean you’ve been a fool; it just means you’ve had the courage to take a risk;
  • It doesn’t mean you’re inferior; it just means you’re not perfect;
  • It doesn’t mean you’ve wasted your time; it just means you have a reason to start over;
  • It doesn’t mean you should give up; it just means you must persevere; and
  • It doesn’t mean you’ll never make it; it just means you need more patience.
