Please find listed below a schedule of paid public holidays in the Republic of Ireland for the calendar year 2017 which you may wish to note for planning purposes:

1 January 2017 - as this falls on a weekend, employees will be entitled to one of the following:

  • a paid day off within a month of the public holiday; 
  • an additional day of annual leave; or
  • an additional day's pay.
