The National Minimum Wage in Ireland for an experienced adult worker in Ireland increases from €9.25 to €9.55 per hour with effect from 1 January 2018.
It should be noted that the National Minimum Wage Act
applies to all employees; however, there are certain worker categories
that are excluded or to whom a different hourly rate applies.
Employers should ensure that they understand their obligations under this legislation.
